Christmas Lily....

.....at the end of February!   Flower Friday entry, thanks Annie.

We walked the circuit this morning, coming back to our place I noticed this late flowerer flopping over our fence. Thought it worthy of blipping, I had my phone in my pocket so snapped off a couple in Portrait Mode, love how it softens the background.
I’ve been a domestic goddess this afternoon....housework and preserving nectarines.
Finally a phone call from our builder to say his men will be here at 8am on Monday morning, removing all the skirting boards and putting back the pantry joinery.  The flooring people will come out and measure up and bring samples for us to consider.  Then we can choose the wallpaper and paint colour.  The fridge will have to be removed, the dresser will have to be shifted (will I have to empty it, hope not it’s full of booze and other essentials). Any rate there will be strong blokes to do those heavy lifting jobs.

The country is feeling a bit cheesed off this afternoon.  It seems a sibling of the two infected siblings (they are in isolation) and who was instructed to isolate at home has been going to do his 9 hour shift at KFC, today he has a positive test...can you really believe that, good grief!!!  Jacinda is rather cross.

Super Rugby Aotearoa starts tonight.....the stadium is full of fans....our team the Crusaders v Highlanders. A South Island derby.
