Sunflowers

Ingeborg's abstract Thursday theme is "painterly".....this is our local paddock of sunflowers I photographed quickly this afternoon, they are past their best and looked rather sad and droopy with the dampness.  I enjoyed giving it a painterly look.
Its been a day of mizzle but not enough rain to do any good to our big dry.
A day spent mainly indoors, achieved a few jobs, Doug did some baking and he cooked dinner tonight.  Very grateful as my arms/shoulders aren't behaving today.
