Flower Friday, and I couldn't muster any enthusiasm to go outside and find a flower even though there are plenty.
Instead, I stood at the door and took this looking over the downs to the ocean.  It was the slithers of light on the cereal crops that enticed me, the light on the cars is State Highway one...... other than that it could well have been Smooch.

Nothing good to report re Covid - from 6137 yesterday, today the known cases have skyrocketed to 12,011 with 237 in hospital and sadly five deaths.....please don't tell me this isn't concerning.
Even more concerning is the situation in Ukraine - bloody Putin !!!
