Common lizard

This morning F and I went for a walk on Llanymynech Rocks.  There were lots of people rock climbing on the quarry walls making the most of the sunny weather.  

We were thrilled to see this common lizard basking on a log, the first sighting of the year.  F saw it when it moved.  It was so well camouflaged that we'd never have seen it if it had stayed still.
