Signs of spring ....

Lovely to see more and more signs of spring when out and about. 

It was even more lovely to see children out playing in the local parks  now that the weather is better. 

In today's other news, since learning the chorus to  Peairt gu Brath , I've been more invested than usual in the outcome of the Scottish League Cup and am pleased the team from Peairt won against Baile Dhùn Lèibh. 

I really like the tune - it is is a traditional one from Uist. Must try and find other recordings of it.  

*Update after repeated listening to the name give at 58 secs in this clip I eventually figured out what was being sent (with lots of false starts it has to be said) and thence other versions.  The tune Teann a-nall . Tha mi toilichte.
