Lonesome Bale

One of the forthcoming topics for my camera group is "Isolated", & I'm not really sure where to start, being in lockdown in a rural location. There's a single straw bale which has inexplicably been left in a fairly large field - I tried different angles on it yesterday, achieving flat horizontal bands of colour, sort of minimalist, but still a bit drab. I decided to try again today so we timed our dog walk just before sunset - better colour but much longer shadows, diagonal lines rather than horizontal bands. Not sure. Will have to keep thinking about this one!!
