For the first time in ages the weather played ball when one of the challenges set a weather related theme. It’s been a mostly gorgeous day with blue sky and glorious sunshine...the silver birch and the mahonia both looked good this afternoon (see extras).
However the weather changed abruptly about 5pm with the east coast haar sweeping up the dean against what would have been a fabulous sunset. I dropped dinner preparations and dashed out with the camera. My main blip was caught as I was headed back to the house...the haar was just starting to recede a little and the setting sun was glancing off the garage, fence posts and some of the tree trunks.
Thanks to isbi for hosting Mono Monday this week.
