I've just seen something amazing. I was staring at the garden work I'd done this afternoon and a bird landed on the fence, obviously a bird of prey, grey back, orangey chest. He looked around for a few seconds then darted off, low and very fast and agile, up and down the gardens. Wow! I think it might have been a sparrowhawk.
