Last of the snowdrops

Another beautiful day! 
We drove down to Conishead Priory. It was  nice and quiet and we had a lovely walk through the woods and along the beach.

The peace was disturbed a bit as the (apparently USAF ) jets were flying overhead, and round and over head again for about an hour. I tried to catch a photo of them but they were too high and too fast.

There were still lots of snowdrops in huge swathes growing in the woods. They were just starting to go off but it was good to see them as I missed them last year.  
Blip is of one snowdrop that looked a bit bedraggled so I felt it was ok to pick it and bring home.
