When a friend was a young child she was given a half a crown (12 ½ pence) to spend at a church fair so bought her mother this little silver chair and a table which I have previously blipped.  It is about 7 cms tall showing a knight beside a castle on the back.  Unfortunately the hallmark is not easy to decipher and although it probably was of no great value her mother treasured it and it now brings back memories of my friend.
