misty morning

another cold and misty morning so where better to head for a walk than the local woods! Mum and I had a lovely slow potter around for an hour and it was lovely to hear the woodpeckers - didn't get to spot them this time but hopefully next time we will!

This pond was frozen just a couple of weeks ago, and it was nice to see it in the mist this morning. There's been a fair bit of maintenance going on too over the past couple of weeks by the woodland team so always good to see the progress they are making.

A rainy afternoon now, so time to attack those indoor jobs!
