Sgwarnog: In the Field

Variety

It's getting quite busy as spring approaches down at the Dam - it looks like the Canada Geese are thinking about establishing home squeezed in between some Mallard neighbours, and meanwhile the swans like to have plenty of space.

I saw my first Coot (x3) down there for ages, along with a solitary female Tufted Duck and a couple of Goosander and Gadwall. Along with the ever present Moorhen that makes eight different species of water bird on the pond at one time, a good variety.
