Dancing

Whenever I come across lichen like this (Cladonia sp.) I see tall figures dancing, in this case atop a tree stump.

It was nice to get a distant view of one of the local Little Owls, although by the time I got to the closer path it had retreated out of sight. Owl spotting challenge in extras.
