The Northern Highlands

We've thoroughly enjoyed walking *every inch* of the Pentlands over recent months (as regular readers may have noticed!), but am now suffering a real hankering to get back up-North ... we haven't climbed one of the really big tops since early August last year ...

... so, been thumbing my trusted 1975 copy of 'The Northern Highlands' (as pictured) and have organised a trip up to Strathcarron for mid-June (restrictions allowing), when some 'bigger' walks are now duly planned :-)

What could possibly go wrong?
