Colour in my garden

Not many flowers but plenty of colourful foliage which was where I started when thinking about the border as it was a bare canvas when we started renting 2 and a bit years ago. The flowers will come later, hopefully.
A busy day today .. a load of laundry out on the line, a chilly wind will dry it nicely. Then off I went, first stop Tesco's to buy a litre of whisky for Mr Happy (joking). On to Morrison's supermarket on the outskirts of Teignmouth. Topped the car up with petrol, then shopped. Oh dear!!! Right outside the entrance was a multipurpose compost offer. 5 x 40ltr compost for £10. Well that was too good an offer to refuse. That filled my trolley. Paid for that, took it to the car. Now shopping.  I really like their meat selection, the meats packed in store, not the range they bring in prepacked. Picked up a cooked chicken & a few other items for Mum. Back to CK, dropped off her shopping then home again. Nipped to the allotment with the compost. A quick coffee at home, then split all the meats up for the freezer, & portion up the whole side of sea trout. A very successful morning.
We rent the house from two brothers, Tim has sadly passed away. I thought his brother might have let us know but it was Tim's widow who rang asking us to change the monthly rental standing order to her name and account. I rang the bank. I'm really not that au fait with on-line banking. The line was terrible which did'nt help but all completed with the one call.

A mooch around the garden after lunch with the camera & hey presto!

Just watched Grayson Perry's Art Club :-)
