An early abstract

for Thursday. I'm dropping yogi off at his grandma's in a while, I want to miss the traffic jams heading back from Exeter to Torbay so am keen to get away early.
We got completely sodden walking this morning, the red soil making the water running off the fields onto the lanes looked like tomato juice. Flooding everywhere, we waded through it, fortunately just below the tops of my wellies. Yogi had a shower when we got back, then donned his dogrobe. As much as they sound silly they are actually very practical, Saves the drips going all over the Farrow & Ball  walls when the dog shakes as they do when wet. It's cleared & brightened slightly this afternoon. Cleaning done, laundry done, car partly packed. I'm off on an early MOT with the maids tomorrow. We're doing a sponsored walk as you know for the Alzheimer's Society. Forecast is dry, so that's a blessing, still going to be chilly, so there will plenty of layers worn, & a little something applely to quaff after.
Got to pop by Morrison's and pick something up to roast for dinner tonight. A roast is easy, that can just jig along in the oven while I sort my packing for tomorrow. Whoop whoop!!!!

This bunch of flowers provides lots of lovely Spring colour, & perfume from the hyacinths, & narcissisi. Can't beat the perfume of fresh flowers. Two pics layered with an abstract of the wiring inside a glass jar. Hope it ticks the box.

Thanks as always to Ingeborg for setting the challenge :- )
