a lifetime burning

Muddy Walk

When Cathy and I popped out for a walk this afternoon the weather was not at all promising: cold and grey.  However, about 20 minutes in, the sun started to break through the clouds and by the time we got home a couple of hours later things were heating up nicely and the blossom looking lovely.  Yet despite that I wanted to Blip this shot of Cathy braving the mud, as you can see there is still a fair bit of it, although it is certainly beginning to dry out now  :-)

A short stone's throw from this point, the path became very muddy indeed just before we crossed a small brook, but we made it across alive and without either of us slipping over into the mire.

I wanted to just say thank you to everyone for such kind comments, stars and hearts for yesterday's shot - all very much appreciated.
