Race....

When you MUST beat the 10 year old haha!

Set my alarm for 730 as had an appointment at the Podiatrist but when I got there at 9 he told me I was a week early!  Jeez the excitement of having an appointment, any appointment, was too much for my brain to take in! Lol

Ben arrived at 1 so we decided to go back to Blackford via all the backroads through auchterarder due to an accident on the A9 at Aberuthven for a walk up by Kirkton Farm adjacent to the Mosque and the unused golf course.  I knew from A FB page Blackford Core Paths that there is security there and was expecting to meet him and sure enough the car drove up to us.  He introduced himself as John and he was the friendliest guy.  We already knew our rights anyway regarding walking but he just went over stuff and was passing the time of day when he spotted three guys over at the Mosque.  Well, for a 63 year old he was off like a rocket the car abandoned with the door open his jacket flung off tearing after them.  Before this we mentioned about the fencing round the mosque and he said it was suicidal some of the antics folks were getting up to in there,  up on the roof all for ‘clicks’!  We carried in our way walking in the lovely sun with beautiful views.

As we walked down towards the road to the Auld Kirkyard three beautiful roe deer leapt the fence in front of us, they then had to leap back as there was a deer fence on the golf course side.  Ben was gobsmacked by their agility and gracefulness.and we managed to get a video of them.

A run through the woods next finished off a great walk.  We were later home so had our Carcassone game after tea then Ben bundled home at 8.  Our last Friday next week as he’s back to school on 16.  Will miss his visits .  His stories when mum and dad aren’t around are something. Else.
