A view from the roof

Our back yard is a small roof terrace. It’s a great space to relax outside of summer (way too hot up there in summer) and now we’re in to autumn I’m looking forward to spending our evenings and weekends up there. It’s very private, all the roof gardens are well screened and most, including ours, have huge cantilevered shade sails. This is all great, but the views we have are really restricted. 

The balconies hanging from the corners of the apartment building a few streets over looked interesting against the soft hues of the sky. A silhouetted person standing on the middle one would have really added to the shot,  it wasn’t to be so the small group of birds off to the right will have to do.
