Through the Looking Glass

An excursion to another local church, this time All Saints at Daresbury. Like the others I have photographed, it is lockdown closed. Unlike the others, this has other recollections - our neighbours daughter was married here on a very warm, sunny day in 2013. Our neighbours are now very active grandparents.

The church is impossible to photograph well (by me, at least), too many trees in the way. The best view is in extras.

This is where Charles Dodgson grew up, his father the curate of the church. He is better known as the Oxford Don who wrote under a pseudonym - Lewis Carroll.

The blip in contrast is a view of the nearby Van de Graaf particle accelerator, through a glass sculpture. The Science Tech Park deserves exploration another time.
