A Tree

We drove up to Ovenstone Wood this morning hoping that it would be a bit dryer underfoot, but no, it was a muddy mess. It seems the estate workers have been driving in and out planting new trees, and then the horses have ploughed it up more. So we walked around the fields instead.
We are fortunate here that the farms leave extra-wide field margins which make it perfect for walkers and dogs, and of course, wildlife.
In the afternoon I read and meditated and snoozed. Ah, this is the life! :-))
