Daffodil

We took a drive out to Ebrington this afternoon.  This is a Cotswold village in Gloucestershire with a pub, where they sell a local brew known as Yubby Bitter (takeaway only at the moment), a church, primary school, thatched cottages and a Manor House owned by the Fortescue family.

The Manor House has a claim to fame being the scene of an attempted murder and arson attack in 1970, described in great detail by one of the victims, Charles Everett, on Facebook here.
I've put a pic of the pub, where the perpetrator was drinking prior to the incident, in the extras.

The theme for today's Mono Monday hosted by trisharooni is Black & White Flowers.  So here's a single daffodil that I saw growing in the wild.
