Bonfire

Today was an excellent day for a bonfire: only a slight wind, and from the West so the smoke was blown onto the field, not towards the house. I had plenty of prunings from fruit bushes and trees plus several buddleias and a lot of ground-cover hypericum which I'm trying to get rid of. After quite a few dry days I was pleased to see the whole lot reduced to ashes nice and quickly. The extra photo shows that it's well under way.
