Dinner time!

nomnomnom.

This is at a rehabilitation camp for cheetahs in Africa in need for a little love and medicine.

After spending time with two tame cheetahs, and a jack Russell , it was time to feed the ones who were working towards getting back in the wild.

We were put in the back of an open air truck, which was daunting but also rather exciting and were driven into the enclosure.

It was huge, I didn't even see fences other than the ones we went through!

We slowed down after a minute or two and the engine was turned off. The cheetahs must of heard us coming.

One by one they appeared almost out of nowhere and soon there was about a dozen or so! All hungry and eager for food.

The keepers had meat stored in special containers on the truck and started flinging the meat high in the air for the hungry animals.

It was an incredible moment to witness but it was over so quickly!

This is a glimpse of what I saw:)
