Duncan’s Folly

Daughter Margaret is visiting from Wellington. She and Duncan went for a long walk this morning. This evening Margaret, Duncan and I drove to Duncan’s property near Havelock. He gave us a mini tour of the bush block, inspecting the tracks he has built in the bush and harvesting some produce from his vegetable plots. He had built a garden shed, a very beautiful one with recycled rimu lining, stained glass windows and a lovely view. Far too nice for a shed. I’ve called it Duncan’s Folly.
