Trees

A mucky day, bits of rain on and off all day, but not really getting much to do any good.  Doug was away most of the day, and I had a haircut early followed by a big supermarket shop.
We have Doug's sister and niece arriving tomorrow afternoon for a couple of nights.  I have physio in the morning so needed to get the shopping done today.

Today the government announced the details of the vaccines order.  Doug will be in May, and I will be in June all going well.

The America's Cup got underway this afternoon, two races and a win to NZ and Prada (Italy)....nervous viewing.

Then the claims assessor returned late afternoon to take a look at our roof from hail damage.  It will be replaced in due course - its very fashionable to have scaffolding around houses in Timaru over the last year.  The hailstorm was November 2019. We just have to go with it....we haven't had to claim anything from insurance ever, never anything of substance, well we sure are making up for it now.

This is a stand of trees just out the road a bit - I've photographed it a few times but never done as a in camera movement.
