Windblown Shadows

Behind the blinds a warm light glows.
There isn't a soul about.
The wind is cold and chills my nose.
It's better inside than out.

Street lights shine on the old house wall.
It's bitter beyond a doubt.
Windblown shadows rise and fall.
It's better inside than out.

These shadows are cast on our house wall by the street light opposite. Didn't dally too long outdoors to take this photo. Brrrr.
