Opportune Pigeon

As a precautionary measure just as we were packing the car this morning and seeing this pigeon sitting looking at the proceedings I took a few quick shots. Why?....because he was there and you never know with blipping what might be around the corner. A bit of an insurance policy possibly...just in case no other opportunity presented itself.

Interesting day today looking round a fair few barns and dog walking but nothing really to blip. We came home for a bacon and tomato butty ready to set out again when the phone rang! My MIL had fallen and couldn't get up but managed to crawl to the phone.

Dropping everything we hotfooted it into Cheltenham to sort her out and luckily she hadn't broken anything but the oven contents were incinerated and the gas was belting out on the hob. I really don't know what would have happened if we had gone out owl hunting as planned.

Thank goodness for the pigeon!
