Surprise!

So wild and windy outdoors l reverted to doing some potting on and sewing seeds in the kitchen.
Covered the worktop in a plastic sheet and just got on with it.
Most appropriate windowsills now filled with plant pots and seed trays.
While in the middle of my indoor gardening session the doorbell rang and l opened it to find a very pleasant delivery man with a parcel for me.
Wasn’t expecting anything and saw that it was a direct delivery from a favourite haunt of mine where l especially like the the wine and food.
The box said it needed to be opened straight away as some contents needed refrigeration.
The contents you can see here, red wine, three cheeses , olives, sourdough crackers and red onion marmalade: all my favourites!
There was no message with the mysterious ( see what l did there?) parcel but it did say it was a Mother’s Day hamper so l could narrow down the sender to two.
Quickly recognised it was from Tim and Adele, we had only been talking about Friends of Ham a couple of weeks ago and saying how much we enjoyed it there.
Sent Tim this photograph and a thank you.
Couldn’t think of anything mysterious for Abstract Thursday so did some editing to share my parcel with you.
