Sunshine and Stormy Weather

Today we've had bouts of brilliant sunshine, gales, rain, and hail. Sometimes all within the same hour.

I managed to get out for a walk, thoroughly rainproofed, and only caught the beginnings of some heavy rain. There was obvious damage to trees from the storm winds (see extra) but most of the flowers and blossoms managed to survive.

Earlier today, I had a German lesson, and later a text chat in German with my son's mother-in-law. She is a most lovely person, whose English is far better than my German, but she lets me practise!

I did some clarinet practice and now I'm going to settle down to some websurfing and knitting. Those cat pictures won't look at themselves!
