Gepikst ist the common term for having had a jag.  Past tense of the verb "piksen".

It was my turn today to get my first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The bus company did their bit by running late this morning.  But given the queues, I don't suppose being a little late mattered all that much. 

I got through the 4 people who checked that I had filled everything out properly.  All 8 pages of it.

And then I saw a doctor for nearly a minute and that was me finished.  One last checkpoint to get through and I could go on my merry way.  In and out in about 40 minutes, so not too bad.

I'm not feeling any side effects yet but I will only be buying Microsoft products from now on.
