The wisest course

Berry snuck up onto a sofa for a quiet doze; very sensible given the weather.

We did manage to gather yet more of the willow prunings up before the rain struck the windows later but I'm afraid there were no other outside activities.

LH has nearly unpacked the big box that has impeded entry into his study since we moved up. This is a direct result of the shelf-putting-up exercise and has made a huge difference. I told him so (nicely, of course!).

We've also put a few pictures up but he doesn't like too many; says it makes the place look like a gallery! Unfortunately, this place's snug rooms in the eaves upstairs mean that most of our pictures will have to stay unseen unless he can get over this aversion. Hmmmmm ... difficult!

Just an odd and sods sort of day really.
