Past monuments

Here are some Shrewsbury monuments to the past, I believe still being used for their original purpose. (I confess I didn't investigate the kiosk but it still had a phone; you never know, it might still work!) I particularly like the elegant design of the Victorian pillarbox.

The usual post journey day of getting food in, sifting through post properly and generally recovering. Today we had some additional tasks in Shrewsbury and took a look at the water levels at the English Bridge (extra); judging by the residual mud on the steps the water peaked at around 5.2m but it's still drowning the riverside path.
