A Gorgeous Day!

Gosh it was stunning today...bright blue skies, sunny, 60F/15C. We had an on site meeting for the botanical garden for the morning, then a couple of afternoon meetings. After that I went for a wander in the garden and came across this very fun Pusatilla vulgaris (Pasque Flower) bud. It will blossom into a gorgeous purple flower, and meanwhile is the hairiest, most fun flower bud in the garden! Doesn't it look rather creature like? Shall we name it?
