the mini limo

almost 2 years ago now i started building this for one of the classic mini specialists.

i first had to rebuild a standard mini shell, then cut it in half! then its pretty much a case of pulling the two halves 1meter apart and make everything up from sheet steel to fill the gap. (this is of course the most basic way of explaining it, its obviously allot more complicated than that)

anyway this took me just 3 months to do start to finish, then it went to the paint shop, and there it has been ever since until the day i took this picture (over 12 months!) in this time they have lost the doors off it which were specially modified for this car.

i only hope they finish the car to a high standard as my name is affiliated with it now, and if it looks rubbish, people will think its my doing!
