These Heels are[n't] made for Walking

L is looking forward to being able to go out in less than a month.  A recent purchase on-line, she's hoping to wear these soon, but I've been warned that there is more than one reason these are called 'killer' heels.  And it's not just because they are difficult to walk any distance while wearing them!
