What have I been learning?

I think that it’s difficult to put an interesting fill colour on top when I start with a white background.  I’m sure someone could talk me round `how’ or I might discover myself - this photoshop is all a steep learning curve (though there are bits of it I can use easily).  I began with a pinky purple hellebore that I picked in the garden and photographed on a white background which has become much more scarlet as it picked up other colours.

The poppy that GG helped me to process is in the extra - the red one above was done without help to see if I could remember how to do it!!
