IMPACT India helps India stay Polio-free

January 13th 2012 marked the first whole year during which no cases of polio were reported in India; a huge milestone demonstrating the power of immunisation.

IMPACT India work in rural areas of Maharashtra State, identifying children who have been missed by the government immunisation programme and ensuring they are protected against this disabling and potentially deadly disease.
