Still standing

Just outside Winster on the edge of the Peak District, this building stands firmly on ground turned into humps by generations of lead miners, but in this case its use was clearly agricultural, judging by the interior (see extra).

I'm up here for a week to support my aged parent who lives alone (perhaps slightly bending the rules on travel but taking great care). Good to finally get out for a walk in decent weather.

Elton happens to be the name of the next village.
