Black sheep

Today I blipped the sheep in the field. The farmer circulates the sheep through a number of fields. They come to this one when the lambs are a few days old. I thought these ones were very cute.
It’s been dry today in Cumbria and my attention has moved to the garden. Our garden has become quite congested with woody shrubs, grass and roots. I tried to clear one of the beds, but needed to get Mr D’s help. I was shown how to use the mower, which is always a challenge when you can’t see very well and it’s very dodgy on even slight slopes! I then decided to plant some new raspberry canes. These are bare root plants and are autumn fruiting so should extend my raspberry season.
