Tiny tot Otto

Accompanied Mr B for a quick visit to our lovely local hospital. Waited in the car and he was back in no time. Started to rain.

Was going to stroll in Southbourne, instead stopped at wonderful Ms and bought the first sourdough for months. Waited for the 3 females inside to exit, one no mask in a small shop. Talking excitedly.

Drove to Westbourne as didn’t fancy returning home to soon. By then weather had brightened. Noticed any previously empty shops were either being done up, or had been. And came across yet another vegan eaterie. Looks like ‘vegans rule’ down here - perhaps not quite yet.

Stopped for a take-away flat white at the super compact ‘Ounce’ which opened last year. Sadly we went into self imposed isolation and never tried it out, but knew they used the excellent, locally roasted Bad Hand Coffee. Owned by Jack and his brother. We know Jack from when he worked in the Hilton’s Tonic Social bar, and his brother had a pop-up coffee stand in the Echo building.

While sipping a top flat white, outside of course, Otto and his master went in. The lilac dappled hound was 5 months old, so friendly, and adorable. Hope to see it again.

Home and managed an hour or so on the balcony, warmed by the sun.

Cathy 1947, today’s Tiny Tuesday host - hope you like doggies
