An ordinary life....

My chariot awaits...

Backblipped 16.03.21

A text at 9am from Darlington confirmed that the newest addition to the family would be with us around 1pm.

We had just finished lunch when it arrived.  Perfect timing.

The car was carefully driven off the trailer and put in the driveway.  Quick handover then the Range Rover was driven onto the trailer and out of our lives.  We're not sad.  It was a beautiful car, very luxurious, lovely to drive but jeez those software issues are a b*gger!  Doors not opening, doors not closing, same with the tailgate, reversing camera not coming on...to name a few.  The system had already been re-booted and updated and in the garage on at least three occasions.  Shine gone so car gone too.

To say we love the new addition is the understatement of the year. Not a Range Rover but a VW Touareg (or Toerag as we've nicknamed it)  Quick run to Perth via Crieff and back home.  Wow!  So impressed.  More powerful engine than the RR so D is very happy.

Haven't told anyone in the family we've changed the car.  Going to keep it a surprise and see if anyone notices once we're able to see them again :-))

My new bedtime routine of being in bed by 11pm-11.30pm at the latest is going really well.  My sleep pattern is much improved as is the quality of my sleep.  The only down side is I run out of time for commenting as it was usually done into the wee small hours!  Will need to find a new blip routine!
