Maize

Day 4. Preached at Daniel's church - but only after preaching in another branch set up by the same church in another part of town.
Acquired a fan club of children from the church.
Watched processing of maize:
Start with a big pile of the stuff, on cobs.
Men fill a sack with some, knot then top, and beat with a big stick to get the corn off the cobs.
Women separate corn from cobs, put it in big bowls and shake out the dust.
All put corn in sacks and seal.
They're treated with insecticide so the bugs don't eat it, which means it's 2 months before it's ready for market or table.
