For weeks/months

.we have been marvelling the at the feat of engineering which enabled the America's Cup yachts to 'fly' across water at such high speeds and provide such exciting racing.  Today I couldn't help but compare the 'feat of engineering' which happens every day when spiders construct their intricate webs.  The middle part of this web was so fine and closely woven it was quite beautiful. The extra,isn't a good photo but shows the complete webb better.
