No cold weather came calling today!

So often the best weather in the U.K. seems reserved for the balmy south. Today, unforecast, the sun shone and the temperature climbed to 19 degrees. This, I think, was caused by warm air descending over the Grampian mountains. Today, also unusually, these were clearly visible from the high ground in Joppa.

We walked along the coast away from the crowds on the beach and up the Brunstane Burn. Signs of spring were everywhere which lifted our spirits enormously.

T had a very successful visit to the dentist. A further sign of some further post pandemic normality returning.

Being able to assist our school aged grandchildren with their homework over the video link was a lovely early evening treat. They are both doing extremely well.
