Spring time stroll

It was lovely weather again for a wander through the lanes.  It was so nice to see the lambs in the fields and I also saw my first plump bumble bee of the season, buzzing his way along the hedgerow.

Leo’s after school footie club started back so he had a good session this evening - it will do them all good to get some fitness back!

Just as I sat down after work, the Drs rang to say that if we could get to the surgery quickly, we could get our COVID jabs today instead of Sunday morning. So Ian and I did a quick dash and got the last 2 jabs of the surgery session at 6pm this evening. We had the AZ vaccine and are due our second dose in June.  So far, no side effects so fingers crossed we feel as right as rain tomorrow too.
