Well well well!

More blood tests this morning at the surgery in the next village.  As my son was on a day off I had the luxury of being able to use the car so didn’t have to worry about timing a walk or catching a bus.  I parked lower down the village, and walked up to the surgery.  Afterwards I took a longer route back to the car.  I had never noticed this gap in the wall before and guess it is an old well given that nearby properties are Well House and Well Barn!  Funny how you can walk past something several times and never notice it!  Not as warm as yesterday, but still dry and pleasant.  Hopefully this will continue for a few days as the forecast seems to be for much colder temperatures at the end of the month.
