Spring Equinox

Today is the Spring Equinox. It is officially the first day of Spring, and signals rebirth and renewal. Here, the weather has been grey and overcast all day and at 5pm I did not have a blip. Looking around the house, I thought that this pair of home-made mosaics might make a nice image. After photographing them, I superimposed another image from last year to create a Spring-like scene out of which abstract flowers grow.
