The Giant Oak

I have been busy for most of the day with gardening and voluntary work, so not much time to think about a blip. I did manage a short walk down to the woods though and took a few pictures with my compact camera.  This massive oak is one of the most awesome trees I know - a true king of the forest. You cannot help but feel a deep sense of reverence and respect when you stand in it's presence.
