Daphne mezereum

When we moved here just over ten years ago, my late mother-in-law gave me this plant as a tiny shrub about six inches tall. It is now over two feet tall and wide and has the best display of blossom it has ever had. Sadly, the blossom is quite short-lived and will soon be replaced by bright green deciduous leaves and I will have to wait another eleven months before I can enjoy the beautiful pink fragrant blossom once again. I just wish that Blipfoto was "scratch and sniff" so that I could share the wonderful frangrance.
